How can producers invest or get involved in the project?
There is a provision for a co-operative investment by producers in the proposed plant. We have looked at different options for investors: invest directly into the company, or invest through a ‘new generation co-op’ that would allow producers to participate in the profits of the plant. At this time, the company’s final ownership structure is to be determined, but we always appreciate expressions of support or interest in ownership from the local community.
